The concept behind the wine

Water is life, movement, and transformation.

This wine embodies its essence: a pure Corvina aged for one year in the depths of the sea, a process that enhances its elegance and imparts unexpected nuances.

The underwater aging, with the absence of oxygen, deep-sea pressure, and constant currents, alters the wine’s aromatic profile, giving it unique finesse and balance.

To allow for a comparative tasting and fully appreciate the transformative power of water, Acqua is also offered in a special box that contains both versions of the same wine: the one aged in the sea and the one matured in the cellar.

A unique sensory experience to understand the role of the environment in the wine’s evolution.

Tasting notes

Acqua presents a bright, luminous ruby red color.

On the nose, elegant floral aromas emerge, along with delicate nuances reminiscent of Pinot Noir, complemented by light mineral notes and refined complexity.

On the palate, its texture is subtle and elegant, with a velvety sensation and an intriguing smoky hint that adds depth and character.

The finish is long and harmonious, with balanced freshness that invites discovery.

Winemaking technique

Acqua is made from a selection of Corvina grapes left to dry for 30 days to concentrate flavors and structure. Acqua is a wine that invites discovery.
